New Evo Trinity boot for 2018

People who know me know the passion I have for Powerslide products. This Screen clip shows an entry for the 2018 Evo Pro Boot, which will ultimately replace the older Evo 2 boot which has the 165mm SSM mount.

There is a possibility Powerslide will continue to manufacture both the Evo 2 and the Evo Pro, but this is yet to be seen and will most likely be based upon the uptake of trinity by the Pro slalom skaters and further demand.

The Evo Pro is similar to the Tau boot. The Evo2/Pro has a removable toe strap, which I believe is essential for additional response and feel, especially for toe wheeling tricks. It can also be changed to other colours for skate customisation, a nice touch. I am praying for an EvoPro custom colour option as does already exist with the Evo2. The Evo also has additional flexibility in the boot cuff and will most likely also ship with a toe-protector.

It is not yet confirmed whether they have improved the ventilation of the soul plate, as they have with the Tau. Such a change may interfer with the strength of the boot.

This will be the next skate I buy. Talk with your suppliers about this skate if you are keen. The shops and Powerslide Rep in my area didn’t even know about this skate until I showed them the 2018 Catelogue available online.

I cannot wait to try the Trinity frame. I am certain that I will not be disapointed.
