I bought my first inline skates in Melbourne in a fire sale at a local skate shop. I think this was somewhere around 1996-1998. There was local flooding of the store which caused some of my eyelets to be a tad rusty, hence a good discount. I think I paid around $300 for these and for ABEC3 bearings which were supposed to be better than standard. I knew very little about skate technology back in these days.
